When I say "Nothener" I really mean Midlander, I'm from Derby, which in the grand scheme of things isn't really that North! But "A Midlaner's guide to London", just doesn't really have the same ring to it? Well frankly, it sounds pretty crap, so we're going with it. Plus anyone living in London says "anyone living north of London is northern".
By no means am I trying to say I'm some kind of London expert here, don't throw away your guide book just yet, this is just me, sharing with you the little spots I have found & grown to love. Some of them you are probably well aware of, others maybe not, but one thing I can guarantee is that there will be a few Marble Tables & flower decorated cocktails thrown in - I'm still a blogger after all.

I'm going to keep this post fairly short and sweet because 1. I am not claiming to be some kind of Marbella expert 2. I've only been a handful of times 3. we stay at a family friends apartment so I can't recommend accommodation and 4. most of the restaurants/bars I am going to suggest aren't down to hard long research - they're just down to what we have happened to stumble across after a jug or 2 of sangria.
But anyway, obviously I needed an excuse to show off my pretty holiday photographs and I can promise you that if you are headed to MARBS there are a few places I would 100% recommend you pop in to!
So it was decided, a girls weekend away was required.. ASAP.. We wanted SUN (obviously), a short flight & somewhere that looked like it could throw together a good cocktail or 6. We decided on Mallorca, and the ME hotel. This fun, stylish & sophisticated hotel was set to be our home for 3 nights, 4 days. I have partnered up with Melia, to bring you an honest, heavily photographed review of the Me Mallorca. Apologies in advance for those with a case of serious Wanderlust.. Even looking back through my photographs has got me ready to book another hotel NOW!
I can't deny it, I am a major list maker. I have to-do lists all over my work space & every time I go away I make lists and lists of things I need to pack - which I then high-light to confirmed I have packed them! Sad I know - but it works!
But I figured since I spend so much time writing my holiday list - I may as well share it with you to, as they really do come in so useful! As this post goes live I will have actually just returned from holiday, so I can check that nothing was missing off the list! I am your guinea pig!
If you are easily holiday envious, craving sunshine, needing the sand between your toes, or just looking for a place to go – I must warn you this post might have you heading straight to the Travel Agents, because quite frankly I’m sure I have found the most faultless hotel in the world….
Me, my Boyfriend and another couple ventured down to London for the Bank Holiday weekend. For a change we decided to stay out of the hustle & bustle of the city and check in at the Village Hotel Club Watford, with easy links straight into Central London it meant we had the best of both worlds for our weekend away. Find out more about my wonderful stay...
Paris certainly isn't short on places to spend your euros! Here is my guide of where to shop in Paris & a quick look at some of the bits & bob's I picked up over the weekend there.
I was lucky enough to head to Paris for the Easter Bank holiday weekend, with my boyfriend Rich. I have already done a whole post about our wonderful stay at the Pullman Eiffel Hotel - you can read all about ithere & see the AMAZING view we had. This post is documenting some of the photographs I took through-out the trip, and also giving you my Top 10 things to do for a weekend in Paris!
From the moment I decided to book a weekend in Paris I knew I needed a room with an Eiffel Tower View, it was a must. I searched through hundreds of hotels and kept finding myself back at the Pullman Tour Eiffel.. So I went for it. Now after spending a weekend there, I can assure you, that you will find me here on any return trips I may make to Paris.
A weekend in the woods... Me, my boyfriend and two other couples recently spent the weekend at the Sherwood Forest Centre Parcs. We arrived on Friday evening & Checked out Monday morning - here is what I thought & what we got up to.
