Happy Halloween! I have got a skeleTON of stuff to show you. (Sorry, I couldn't resist). The halloween theme doesn't continue through the post I'm afraid. However there is a face mask, just not the one you might be thinking of! There is also a new subscription box that I am SO excited to share with you, along with my FAVE Lush products and maybe a few cheeky Christmas Gift ideas to! xo

I guess you could say "It's a girl thing" but there are just some things that boys do, things that I simply cannot get my head around. Sometimes leaving me questioning whether we are actually from the same planet? Are we a complete different species? Here are 12 things men do, that us gals HATE. Let me know how many you can relate to, yano, so I know that it's not just me living with some kind of alien.
When I was little the hardest part about choosing your Christmas Advent Calendar was the choice between Dairy Milk & Galaxy. However we've been thrown into a whole world of bother as there are now BEAUTY advent calendars on the market - that's right BEAUTY. A little treat of the cosmetic kind every single day for 25 days? YAS PLEASE - where do I sign up? Well that is the problem - there are SO many wonderful looking Beauty advent calendars about that I'm struggling to decide which one(s) I NEED. Here is my review of the ASOS version & sneak-peak of the other popular ones this year.
The October Glossybox has been created in collaboration with the fabulous Lifestyle & Beauty Vlogger Estee Lalonde. Therefore I was really excited to see her picks and have a look around this months box! It's great to see the influence bloggers have in the beauty world at the moment including HUGE campaigns with L'oreal, Schwarzkopf and now beauty boxes, Come and see what beauty picks Estee chose for the October Box:
I no longer reach for Glamour Mag or a book when I fancy a lil' me time, I now head online and hit up some blogs I love getting engrossed in and ending in 22 posts deep, reading articles from months ago. I love reading blogs full of personality, and most importantly that tell a story - I like giggling along with the writer, or sharing a tear or two. I have decided to start a series about the blogs I have been loving, this being #1. I saw the Idea on Fran's blog and thought it was another great way to share the love! Here are 12 blog posts I have been loving over the past month of so.
I was recently invited by the absolute dreamboats at Nouveau Lashes to go and get a treatment done at one of the approved salons in my area. Introducing Rococo Beauty, a salon in Derby city centre run by the lovely Anne (Just a lil' heads up - Anne's amazing.. but more on her later). I chose to have a Nouveau Lash Extend treatment, and I am excited to finally share with you the results! So, lets get right to it!
It's pretty hard for the beauty subscription box industry to differentiate themselves now-a-days with so many options on the market! Octobers Birchbox has taken us outside the box (well, it is still a box, but yano what I mean) and is talking all things astrological, with FOUR glow in the dark box designs! Earth, Air, Fire or Water - all dependent on your star sign! Come and see what was inside my Taurus/Earth box!
When Aldi challenged me to make a recipe using only Aldi Ingredients - of course I said YES! Because, well, CHEESECAKE! Let me introduce you to the Ultimate Hazelnut Chocolate Cheesecake. Basically a mouthful of heaven, the smooth hazelnut and chocolate flavors compliment the dreamy biscuit base perfectly and leave you wanting just that extra slice more. Whats better, the recipe is super easy to follow and the ingredients are so affordable, you have no excuse! Come'on, get some down ya!.
Without fail, every single month I fall a little bit more in love with the My Little Box subscription, the box that never fails to surprise me, no matter how many times it has landed on my doorstep. Each month is completely different to the last, and they always come up with new, innovative ideas that catch my eye every time. This months Brooklyn themed box might be my favourite of them all! Come & have a ganders....
When I say "Nothener" I really mean Midlander, I'm from Derby, which in the grand scheme of things isn't really that North! But "A Midlaner's guide to London", just doesn't really have the same ring to it? Well frankly, it sounds pretty crap, so we're going with it. Plus anyone living in London says "anyone living north of London is northern".
By no means am I trying to say I'm some kind of London expert here, don't throw away your guide book just yet, this is just me, sharing with you the little spots I have found & grown to love. Some of them you are probably well aware of, others maybe not, but one thing I can guarantee is that there will be a few Marble Tables & flower decorated cocktails thrown in - I'm still a blogger after all. |
