I was lucky enough to head to Paris for the Easter Bank holiday weekend, with my boyfriend Rich. I have already done a whole post about our wonderful stay at the Pullman Eiffel Hotel - you can read all about ithere & see the AMAZING view we had. This post is documenting some of the photographs I took through-out the trip, and also giving you my Top 10 things to do for a weekend in Paris!
Paris MUST DO's
Off to Paris but only have a few days to fill in everything you want to do? Here are my top MUST see things you can squeeze into a long weekend.
1. Angelina's for Hot Chocolate
Imagine the best hot chocolate you have ever tasted & then times it by 10. The famous hot chocolate in Angelina's may come with a long wait, in a queue outside the door, but trust me its worth it! Seeing the beautiful building & interior is an experience in itself. A must see when in Paris. See the website HERE 2. Top floor of the Eiffel Tower Now this is probably an obvious one however, I would recommend going at night. The views are spectacular & seeing the beautiful city all lit up from up there is insane & a definite must do. 3. Galeries Lafayette If you want to go shopping in Paris - look NO FURTHER than this place. You will be amazed. Who ever I spoke to before going to Paris told me I must head here.. I kept thinking how good can I shopping center really be? But its INCREDIBLE! It has every brand you could ever imagine & the building itself is simply stunning. See the full list of brands HERE. I will also have my final Paris post up next week featuring the best places to shop & more information on this place! 4. Laduree - Rue Royale The home of the Macarons - I know there is a Laduree in London but you can't beat the orginal - what a beautiful building. We headed here for lunch & had croque monsieur - yes it was VERY expensive but we paid for the experience & what an experience it was. 5. Champs-Elysees The most famous road in Paris - this long stretch of beautiful shops, tourist attractions & little bistro's which also happens to be the home of the Arc De Triompe is a must visit when in Paris. Start at the bottom and walk your way up taking in the sites & popping into the stores that tickle your fancy (HUGE Sephora!) Keep going until you reach the stunning Arc De Triompe - be sure to then climb the steps of the Arc to get to the top to see the most wonderful view in Paris - its so surreal. PS The steps are a killer - prepare for burning thighs & bum - OUCH. At least I worked off some of the Macarons.... 6. The Love Lock Bridge Some might find it Cheesy, and I guess it kind of is.. but I can't deny I loved every second of it! TIP - buy yourself a padlock in the UK before leaving for Paris otherwise the people selling them on the bridge really do rip you off - I got this beautifully engraved one HERE & it looked so pretty. I know its a bit fancy - but I decided to go all out! I love reminding Rich that he is now locked with me FOREVER,,, muahaha. 7. Dinner at Sacree Fleur If you love steak, this place is a MUST. This understated little bistro, hidden down a little street is an absolute gem. The menu is simple, very reasonably priced & the steak was hands down the best steak I have ever had. The Trip Advisor reviews say it all! Be sure to book in advance as it's only a very small restaurant & it gets super busy at peak times, See the menu & book a table HERE 8. Walk along the river Seine If you are lucky enough to get some nice weather whilst in Paris - a great way to spend a day (I would recommend a Sunday as this is when most shops etc are closed) start wherever you like & begin to walk down by the river. There are lots of little cafes, benches & stop offs along the way, plus the views are glorias! We walked for miles and miles without even really realizing. You can also find many stops for the city bikes which is the best way to get around down by the river! Just get down their early as on nice days the bikes get taken quickly! 9. Chanel - Rue Cambon - The original store Whether you are planning a big splurge or not, if you are a Chanel Lover/Dreamer this place is a must. If you are able to treat yourself I highly recommend doing it here, the whole experience in the Original Chanel store is worth paying for on it's own. Plus you'll get the white carrier bags which are only available in this store due to it being the first ever Chanel (I have a thing with designer carrier bags, doesn't everyone?) 10. Monsier Bleu Restuarant Fancy somewhere fancy? This ones for you. This glamerous, no expense spared resturant over looking the Eiffel Tower can't really get much better. If you are looking for somewhere to have a special meal, that you'll remember for a long time. This place is it. Remember to dress up & book in advance. Please bare in mind the experience comes with a bit of a price tag, but its perfect for that special night of your trip where you want to go all out. Webiste: Monsier Bleu

Paris is such a beautiful place! I've only been once and that was just for Disneyland, so I'd love to go back and visit all of the attractions. Amazing photos, too! x
