From the moment I decided to book a weekend in Paris I knew I needed a room with an Eiffel Tower View, it was a must. I searched through hundreds of hotels and kept finding myself back at the Pullman Tour Eiffel.. So I went for it. Now after spending a weekend there, I can assure you, that you will find me here on any return trips I may make to Paris.
It really was one of those "wow" moments as I looked up to see the Eiffel gleaming down at me as I stepped out of the taxi outside the hotel. I knew we were going to be close to it, but didn't quite realize how close! (my camera was out before we had even entered the reception).
The reception looks so beautifully sophisticated and modern, yet still welcoming. The staff were very accommodating and all spoke very good English. Upon arrival (around 10:30am) we wanted to just drop our bags off, as we were aware we couldn't check in until 2pm. However we were delighted to be told our room was ready early, so we could go straight up. This is always a lovely touch as it means you can "settle in" more before heading off to explore the city. As soon as we opened the door to our room I was so happy and relieved, often you find that hotel rooms never look like they do on the photos but this one really did. Even better in fact. The bed was huuuuuuge, the room & bathroom were spacious & light. One thing I must point out - not only were there plenty of plug sockets throughout the room & around the bed, they also had English Plug sockets already installed in the wall, which was a dream! What a fabulous idea! It sounds silly to mention that but the little things like that really do make a big difference to me. There was a well lighted mirror in the bathroom, along with a smaller make-up mirror & a floor to ceiling mirror in the main room. There is plenty of draw/desk/wardrobe space so we were able to really settle into the room. (normally I find myself having to live out of a suitcase as the drawers are never big enough! There is a mini bar, coffee maker and kettle in the room, all of which are replenished with supplies everyday. Then onto the balcony! The view was INSANE. I won't blab on about this as I'm sure you can see what I am talking about from the photos, but WOW! It really didn't get old, every night and every morning we would look out over to the Eiffel and pinch ourselves that we were really stood there. The hotel also has a bar which serves amazing cocktails (try the porn star martini), and the tables are all marble, so basically a bloggers dream. We didn't eat at the hotel as we wanted to venture out into Paris however we heard great things about the food & breakfast through other guests. There are also free to use computers & printers in the reception which meant I was able to check in online for my flight home & print off our boarding passes with in seconds. They really have thought of every little detail, I can't fault this hotel in any way & I would HIGHLY recommend it if you are visiting Paris! We booked our stay through hotels.com , which I use a lot & again couldn't recommend booking with them enough. ** We stayed in a Deluxe Double Room (Balcony view on Eiffel Tower) Book through the link below as Hotels.com currently have a special deal on 20% off Paris hotels! Amazing!
Keep checking back as I have two more posts about my weekend in Paris - such as my tips for shopping in Paris & some more photographs! xo

I just booked the deluxe king bed with balcony view of Eiffel. Heard you can't see it from the room unless you go out and lean to the right though. Would it be more convenient to just get a window room?
