Lashings of Lashes, please.

I was recently invited by the absolute dreamboats at Nouveau Lashes to go and get a treatment done at one of the approved salons in my area. Introducing Rococo Beauty, a salon in Derby city centre run by the lovely Anne (Just a lil' heads up - Anne's amazing.. but more on her later). I chose to have a Nouveau Lash Extend treatment, and I am excited to finally share with you the results! So, lets get right to it!
Picture

About the Extend Treatment:

The extend treatment uses lashes that are designed to imitate your natural lash, whilst giving you a fuller, thicker yet still natural lash look. Individual lash extensions are applied one at a time to each of your own eyelashes.
You have your eyes closed through out the whole treatment, which can take up to 90 minutes. Anne made me feel as comfortable as possible on the treatment bed and if it wasn't for our hilarious flowing conversation, I could have easily nodded off!
Before application you can discuss with your technician what kind of look you want to go for, e.g. you might want more of a cat eye look, or you might want really natural looking lashes. I asked Anne to do whatever she thought would best suit my eye shape - and she really worked her magic and got it bang on! Mine are fluttery and longer, yet they still look completely natural.

The individual lashes are applied with latex free lash adhesive and I didn't feel a slight bit of pain/discomfort through-out application. In fact you can barley feel a thing! (hence why I could have nodded off).
The thing I love most about my lashes are how light they are, I am a false lash lover and one thing I usually find with strip lashes is that sometimes you can really feel that they are there/they feel heavy. With these lashes I can  honestly say you litterally don't even know that you're wearing them. The first night after having them I felt a little wary and I was so careful not to touch them or knock them. However after 48 hours the adhesive will have set and I felt completely comfortable brushing through them and applying my make up around them, In regards how they have lasted, well, you will read further on that I have now been wearing them for 3 WHOLE WEEKS! That is without any top-ups or additional treatments. The lashes fall out with your natural lashes, so every day I might have the odd single lash fall out, this process means you end up with naturally less lashes rather than huge clumps falling out at once. This has meant that I am still super happy with them after this long. YAY!

BEFORE AND AFTER MY TREATMENT

So lets get on to the before and after pictures, I know you're all dying to see!
I feel like I'm about to show you some precious family portraits, here you go guys, here are my children - and I love every single one of them! You can look, but you must not touch!

There are a number of rules you need to follow after your treatment. They may sound a little scary, and there are quite a few of them, but just trust me that it'll all be worth it! I used the rules as my bible and so far I have had my lashes on for 3 weeks - how amazing is that! The thought of waking up with-out having to apply mascara, and going to bed with out spending 10 minutes trying to scrub it off has been an absolute DREAM, a dream I never ever want to end *stay with me precious lashes*.
Anne also kindly gave me some of the Nouveau Lashes Eye make up remover, this is oil free so it is safe to use on your lashes, plus it takes off your eye-make up like a breeze. She also left me with the Lash Extension Remover so that I had to option to take them off myself at home (They're still on, so I can't give you any feedback on that just yet!) However you also have the option of popping into the salon and getting them taken off there.

You can see the "RULES AND REGS" below - they aren't to bad really, trust me!

So, what do you think? Are you in lash-love just like me?
If you are in the Derby area, I would highly recommend giving Rococo Beauty a call, you can contact them on 01332 371600, you can e-mail them at [email protected] or head over to their website HERE for more details!
If your not based around the Midlands, you can head over to the Nouveau Lashes website and find your nearest salon HERE.
(Dear Anne), I just want to add a personal thank you to Anne, from Rococo Beauty. She made me feel so, so comfortable from the the second I met her and through out the lash treatment. She is genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met, she has such a good heart and you would just LOVE how enthusiastic she is about Beauty (& lashes). Her top priority is to make her clients feel good, and it's like a breath of fresh-air to come across someone like this. So big props to Anne! xo

Wish LASHINGS of love, Georgie xo

Your lashes look amazing! I've never had them done at all but you've made me want them now. Not having to wear mascara sounds like a dream 😍😍 haha glad you like them. If I was anywhere near derby I'd definitely pay Anne a visit!

Your lashes look incredible, and the fact that they have stayed put for three weeks shows just how worth it the treatment is. I have quite long lashes anyway but would love some to create a bit of a cat eye look like you described. Great post lovely, as always xx

I've had lash extensions before - in fact I used to get them filled in twice a month, every month for nearly 6 months. I absolutely love the look and think it's a GREAT way to get the best lash look. Yours look fabulous! x

I'd heard so many negatives regarding the rules of lash extensions, but these don't seem so bad at all!! Now if only work would let me get them done, that'd be great!
