November has been a month of cosy nights in, weekends away in the UK and multiple blog events! So I thought, what better a month than now to start a monthly round up of what I've been up to! Maybe it can be a little diary for me to look back on and see that I don't actually just sit in front of a computer every night writing this ol' blog! Plus I can share fun things you guys might want to do to! Like this month I attending the Gin Festival and also the Good Food Show. Come & have a cosy - nosy! xo
Cosy Nights
Is it even November if you haven't cuddled up on the sofa with 5 different blankets and a hot chocolate (glass of wine) bigger than you head? Mitten's seems to like it too...
Beauty Bay Carnival - London
Although technically this event was at the end of September, I couldn't not tell you about it!? So lets just pretend... I was invited by Beauty Bay to attend a blogger event like no other! The Beauty Bay Carnival has to be the best blogger event I have ever attending. It was designed for us from start to finish. We had the chance to meet (and take 50 million selfies) with the American You Tube stars Manny MUA, Jeffree Star, Patrick Starr and also Gen Gerard (the mastermind behind Gerard Cosmetics. We left with a huge bag full of goodies full of make up of dreams!
Bicester Village
Every year I attend an annual Lady's day at Bicester Village. It is always the first Thursday in November and is always the kick start to my Christmas Season! The village has beautiful fairy lights everywhere and is the perfect place to start your Christmas Shopping. I did a full blog post about the bargain's I picked up which you can catch up on HERE.
My Best Friends 23rd Birthday
The 11th November marks my Best friend Lucy's Birthday. We celebrated with cocktails and tapas. Lovely!
The Gin Festival - Leicester
A festival revolving around GIN?! Hell yes, I'll take 3 please.
Gin Festival organised different events all over the UK which surprise are all about GIN. You can spend your day trialing and testing many different gins, trying them with different mixers and sampling each one in your very own gin glass. Upon entry you receive a guide full of information all about which Gin's are available on the day and at which stall you can find them. Once you have narrowed down your choices you can go ahead and get tasting! My personal favorite from the day was a Grapefruit infused Gin which I will 100% be picking up a bottle of! There are still many events going on around the country and you can find out dates/times and pick up tickets HERE. If you have a Gin loving friend/family member it is a great opportunity to buy them tickets as a Christmas present! BBC Good Food Show
I was invited to attend this years BBC Good Food Show with The Blogger Program. It is an event held at different locations around the UK, however I attended the one at the NEC Birmingham Arena. The star chefs included Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood and James Martin. There are stalls and stalls and stalls of goodies allowing you to have a taste of different cuisines from around the world and locally produced products from the UK. The exibits included cooking equipment, cooking stations showing you how to cook dishes, bars, a prosecco van, and many other things. There are live cooking demos from the different celebrity chefs, I caught one from James Martin which was great to watch live.
Some of the things I picked up from the food show included:
Jim Jam's Chocolate Spread - A chocolate spread with 83% less sugar. Flavours to add to Champagne (or prosecco in my case!) Peanut butter which is made with ONLY crushed peanuts. No other nonsense! Find your nearestBBC GOOD FOOD SHOW here & pick up some tickets. Or why not pick up tickets for a Christmas present? A Weekend In Norfolk
Last weekend Richard's family and I headed down to Norfolk to spend a weekend by the sea. We enjoyed cosy pub lunches with roaring open fires and brisk walks along to beach wrapped up all toasty. Itwas a wonderful winter weekend from start to finish.
What have you been up to this November?
