This is my 3rd instalment of "10 things that made me happy" this month, and honestly it is the post I look forward to writing the most every single month! In-fact is it possible to include this post in the 10 things that have made me happy? I love looking forward to writing something, and this post allows me to look back over the month and remind myself of happy memories and things I have enjoyed, sometimes little things, sometimes big! Come and see my list of things for April!
One: I Turned 23!
Now I will start off by saying that turning 23 certainly didn't make me happy this month - I feel like I'm getting old waaahhh! But my actual birthday itself did! I love everything that comes with birthdays, spending time with friends and family and making fun plans! We went out for Tapas, Cocktails with friends and then tonight we are off out for wine and a curry! What could be better?
Two: Blush, Blush, Blush
I've never really been a "blush" person, like ever. I think it might be the fact I've already had redness in my skin, so I thought, why would I want to add more? But that was until this year. 2017 is the year of the blush for me! I feel like I've found the shades that suit my skin tone, and I've seen how much it can add to my make-up! My favourite has been the one from the Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette which I did a post on here.
Three: Beer Garden's
This month I have managed to make my first few trips to the beer garden - wahoooo! The local pub near me serve home-made lemonade which is served with lemon sorbet on top - INSANE! However when we're not driving the raspberry mojito and also a Pimms is always on the cards!
Four: The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Range
I have literally fallen head over heels for this range this month, the products smell amazing, leave my skin so soft and moisturised and also work great for sensitive skin. They're simple, but effective, exactly what I like. I've actually found quite a few products this year that include honey that I've loved! Maybe it's what my skin has been missing all these years. My particular favourite from the range is the Body Butter, but you can check out the full collection here. Be sure to check out the whole website, The Body Shop always have offers on such as they currently have 40% off hundreds of products! And Free Delivery when you spend £10.00.
Five: Last Minute Plans! Spontaneous Trips!
This is one I am REALLY excited to share with you! Yesterday Me, Richard, My sister and her boyfriend booked a spontenous and last minute trip to Mallorca! We go next Saturday for 2 nights, 3 days! I know it's only a short time, but why the hell not! I stayed at the same hotel last year with a friend, it's amazing, I actually did a blog post on it > ME Mallorca Hotel.
Six: Instagram
Me and Instagram have a MAJOR love / hate relationship (mainly hate, I'm not gonna lie) - but I have to admit, this month I have kind of found my love for it again. I have been trying to be more active, post more regular less planned content, and worry less about the numbers (which is a definite positive because my follower count goes up and down quicker than you can count). If you fancy saying HEY you can check out my Instagram here instagram.com/asyouwishuk.
Seven: Nip & Fab
I have been sooo eager to try some of the new launches from Nip & Fab, so when they kindly sent me over the highlighting palette I couldn't wait to give it a try! The first thing to point out is the size of the pans, and the amount of product! This palette comes with 6 very good sized pans, when I saw this only retails for £15.00 I honestly couldn't believe it! Such a bargain! There are 3 bright and light shades, and 3 more golden and sun kissed shades. The formula is pigmented, easy to blend and gives you such a gorgeous glow. I have been using the palette all over my face by applying it on my cheek bones, cupids bow, under my eye brows, down the centre or my nose, and just about anywhere else you can highlight! I honestly can't recommended you picking this up more, especially for the price, it's amazing value for money! Get yours here for £15.00.
Eight: The Body Coach YouTube & Recipe Books
I have been attempting to make "better" choices when it comes to food/excericise this month. I have found that The Body Coach has been really helping! I've been loving doing the HIIT work outs from his youtube channel, they're super easy to do at home. And me and rich have made a few of this recipes from his book - all of which have been easy to make and really tasty!
Nine: London
You will probably have seen from my Instagram that we headed to London for the big bank holiday weekend, we stayed at the most amazing Instagramable hotel which I did a blog post on (Leman Locke Hotel) - and we just had the best time! We ate lots of amazing food, enjoyed drinks on some fabulous roof tops and just generally took walks around and took in more of our favourite city. We were super lucky with the weather so we managed to walk pretty much everywhere which meant we stumbled across so many new finds -which I love doing!
Ten: Iced Coffee from Starbucks
Now it's beginning to warm up, there is nothing I love more than a refreshing iced-coffee! Yum! My particular favourite has to be the Starbucks Iced Caramel Macchiato! If you haven't tried it already, please do. Thank me later.
I hope you have enjoyed my 10 things that made me happy this month <3 I really enjoyed writing it!

What a month! The lemonade sounds beaut, unfortunately I don't get to do the beer gardens as often now with Mia but I used to love sitting out in the sunshine with a cocktail. So glad you made it to Peggy Porschen in London - I want to take up full residency! Sketch is next on my list.
