Last month I decided to do a little round up of the things that had made me smile in Feb, I loved writing it but I didn't really think it would do so well in terms of views because no-one would really care less what made me happy, not in a sob story way but just why would they!? Howeverthe post actually went down SO well and so many people asked if I would make it a monthly thanggg, so here we are! Here are the 10 things that made me happy this month!
1. BRUNCH
I headed down to London at the start of March, and planned to meet my favourite blogging friendKirby for brunch. We met at Granger and Co Kings Cross and had brunch. Starting off with a green juice, followed by the best scrambled eggs I have ever had the pleasure of eating, bacon, sourdough toast and polished off with a good ol' latte. I would highly recommended checking it out if you're in London. (Brunch was also accompanied by a hell of a lot of catching up and giggling of course!) 2. B L O S S O M Would I ever been a blogger if I didn't mention the wonderful amounts of Instagramable blossom that has been filling our streets the last month? It just looks so pretty and instantly fills me with happiness! I don't care how many times I've seen a similar image on Instagram I still double tap! 3. ED SHEERAN - DIVIDE ALBUM At the risk of sounding like a massive fan girl, because getting Ed Sheeran tickets was actually in my list of 10 things that made me happy last month, but I couldn't not include his album! I have been listening to it non stop through-out March and I'm still not tired of it, my favourites are Galway Girl and Shape Of You. Please also be prepared to hear more Ed Sheeran rambling in April because thats when I'm going to see him live! 4. BEAUTY AND THE BEAST I don't think I have been as excited to see a film before as I was to see the new Beauty & The Beast, so I picked up my sweet popcorn, a large tango ice blast (obvs) and me and my fave hun's went to see it! I absolutely LOVED every second of it! Does anyone fancy seeing it again with me? TYSM! 5. EYELASHES I have had a few too many cocktail nights with the girls this month and I have really been enjoying getting that bit more dressed up and spending a little longer on my makeup. In particular I have fallen back in love with wearing false eye-lashes, my go-to pair are always the Nouveau Natural Strip lashes in style 2 - they're fluttery, natural and super easy to apply.
6. CAUDALIE NEWBIES
Now that spring is upon us I really want to take EXTRA care of my skin, as we are bound to have more on show than usual. I have been loving testing out the Caudalie Crushed Carbernet body Scrub which has made my skin, in particular my legs, SO soft and smooth, I feel that although it gives my skin a deep scrub and exfoliates any dead skin cells away, it still leaves it feeling so soft and nourished, probably due to the 6 essential oils it contains. I have also been really enjoying trying the Instant Detox Masque which seems to have reduced the appearance of my pores after just one use. 7. MAID OF HONOR DUTIES As I mentioned last month, my best friend got ENGAGED! Woo! And so through March I have been loving checking out some venues with her, planning colour schemes, browsing pinterest for wedding inspo and obviously planning the HEN DO! (Any tips for that please HELP!) 8. FAKE TAN Due to the weather getting slightly warmer I've actually been able to leave the house with-out adding 19 layers, this has obviously called for the Fake Tan to come out the cupboard, and I feel bloody better for it! There is no denying I will always find fake tanning a massive chore, but the ones I find are the best for me are the St Tropez Express Tan Mousse and the Bondi Sands Gradual Tan. 9. BLOG PHOTOGRAPHY Can I get a HELL YES to the lighter evenings! It means I can finally start taking blog photographs after work rather than having to batch take ALL my posts at the weekend! It means I can actually spend time enjoying my photography sessions, rather than it being a massive pain in the arse at weekends! 10. C O C K T A I L S <3 Last month it was Coffee, this month it's cocktails. Particularly a Pornstar Martini from my favourite bar in Derby The Palfrey - they're the best I have ever tried and they even burn brown sugar on top of the passion-fruit to caramelise it for an added treat! It's a HELL YES from me.
Whats made you happy this month? I would L O V E to hear, as hearing things like this puts a smile on my face! <3
