My Valentines Date Night Beauty Picks

Since the month of lurve<3 is upon us, I thought why not take this as an opportunity to pull out every pink, red and golden beauty product I own. I have put together my Valentines Beauty essentials so you can look and feel FABULOUS darlings, whether you are off out with the loved one in your life, or celebrating single life with your girlies. Let's see what we have here, shall we!

My Picks!

First things first I had to pick the Lush Prince Charming Shower Gel - because obviously it's Valentines & why not smell like a sweet marshmallow that is good enough to eat?

​In terms of a "base" I thought the Body Shop Insta Glow Primer would be perfect because it instantly brightens up your complexion and gives you that subtle yet healthy looking glow. On top of this my foundation choice would be the Estee Lauder Double Wear Light - a base that is full coverage enough to cover any blemishes/redness and discoloration, whilst still allowing the glow from the CC cream to be seen. Leaving your skin, still looking like, well, skin. 

For Valentines I thought I HAD to include a blusher because Hey it's pink, pink to make the boys wink! The Milani Bella Roses Powder Blush not only looks the part (it has a rose design embedded which meant it took me approx 2 months to actually build up the courage to use it and ruin the pattern) but it also gives you the perfect pop of blushed pink to your cheeks - perfect for the occasion.

At the moment for my Eyes I have been loving the Rosie for Autograph palette in "copper gold rush". I find that the shades are so easy to blend, build and the pigmentation is superb. (please also note the V Instagramable rose gold packaging). There is a mix of matte and shimmer shades and also a little pop of pink, which is obviously why I thought it would be perfect for this post!

The Lips are another very important part of the Valentines look, I thought I'd throw in a few options. One bold RED from Mac (Ruby Woo) which is super matte and long lasting so you can be kissing all the boys. Also Charlotte Tilbury's Nude/Pink In Super Cindy which is equally as pigmented and long lasting. If you were feeling V pretty in pink, you could also add a POP of colour with Too Faced Melted Frosting Melted Lipstick - I must warn you - it's very bright!


Finally I thought I'd better include my all time favourite scent - Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir - there is something sexy and sophisticated about this perfume which I feel would compliment your look perfectly. 

Finally, remember, a smile is the prettiest make-up you can wear! (I'm cringing to!)
