New In MAKEUP Summer 2016

After reorganizing my makeup yesterday (I do this about 6 times a week - why doesn't it ever stay tidy?), I realised I have been neglecting a lot of my new in make up from my blog recently. I decided it was time to spread to love & let these new in pieces have some time to shine, before they end up shoved in a draw, covered in foundation fingerprints with the rest of the make up I definitely need (total lie, I don't need half of it). Here is what I have thought of my new arrivals & whether I think they are worth the hype. 

Make Up Geek Eye Shadows

I could go on all day about how long I have spent dreaming of being able to create my own make up palette - when I discovered Make Up Geek I could have screamed! Finally I have the chance to create my own palettes, using colours I know I'm going to use, with out those odds and ends going to waste like most palettes I invest in. A few people have asked me to go through the different colours I have (there are a fair few more shades since I took this photograph - oops) I am thinking of doing a whole blog post on them, what do you think?

Gerard Cosmetics - Slay All Day 

I picked this up in one of Beauty Bay's best of USA boxes - it has now become an item I use every single day. The super fine, beautifully scented spray helps your makeup to stay on all day. I have tried a few different setting sprays, and this has by far been the best one, by noticeably helping my make up last longer.

Anastasia Beverly Hills: Modern Renasissance

There is no denying that this little beauty is already sat in almost every single beauty addicts collection. The Modern Renaissance palette stormed the beauty market & left us all falling a little bit in love with it. There isn't much else I can say that every other beauty blogger has said, but to sum it up, its amazing! From the luxurious pink velvet casing, to the super pigmented, easily blended shadows in all the dreamy shades this product is everything you want in a palette. If for some reason you haven't yet picked this up, please do! It's a must.

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector- Champagne Pop.

This CULT product has had every beauty lover talking. The apricot gold highlighter made in collaboration with US YouTube star Jaclyn Hill has become a must have in every beauty gurus draw, so naturally I had to see what all the fuss was about. I have to say, I can definitely see what its about, it's amazing! There are no words to describe the GLOW this product gives you, you NEED to go and try it for yourself. Its so fine, that It almost becomes creamy, which is perfect as you don't end up with the powdery look some highlighters give, but you also don't have to blend it hard like you would a cream. It is on the pricier side as far as highlighters go, but I feel like its totally worth it.

Benefit Cosmetics

I've said it many times before, and I will say it again, that Benefit just seems to hit every nail on the head for me. The products are always top quality, the packaging is second to none and the innovative, fun ideas never get old. I have been lucky enough to sample some more Benefit Goodies - some old, some new. Heres what I thought!

Hervana Blush/Face Powder: I loved this product as soon as I saw it, the stunning colours and packaging ensures it stands out from the crowd. The light mix of colours looks fabulous on pale skin, which is something I usually struggle to find in a blush. The lighter shimmer shades also add a bit of extra glow to your makeup. ​POREfessional Matte Rescue Gel - This product isn't new to me and I have loved it for a lonnnnng time. This is the perfect product for anyone who suffers with that dreaded oily skin. Popping this on instantly mattifies my skin, absorbing any excess oil and leaving me with a perfect base to start on. A little tip is to use this all over your face and then for that extra smooth look apply a thin amount of the Porefessional Primer, your foundation will never go on better! Buy it HERE

Grooming Tweezers - I didnt realise what I was missing before testing out these! The grooming brush means I can tame my brows before plucking to ensure that I am only getting rid of the correct hairs! The brush is really coarse and picks up every single hair meaning you can ensure your brows are perfectly in place, I won't be able to use another tweezer again! Buy it HERE

They're Real Push Up Gel Eyeliner - Admittedly this product was the one that took me the longest to love, but I must say I do now adore it! The applicator takes a little while to get used to as its nothing like I have ever used before. But after a few practices (practice makes perfect) I mastered it, the formula really does last ALL day and the thing topped applicator allows you to create the most perfect flicks! I now have my eyes on the black one for a more every day look.Buy it HERE

I had never heard of Motives Cosmetics before discovering it on shop.com - now I am SO glad I did. The range created by Loren Ridinger supplys all the makeup goodies you need! This Motives Dynasty palette particularly stood out for me, The colours are unique & something I wouldn't always go for, which meant I was really excited to try it out! The colours are super pigmented and there is an array of pearl, matte and glitter finishes meaning there is a look for every occasion!

Anastasia Beverley Hills Glow Kit

The Glow kits are something I have had my eye on for a looooooong time. However I kept telling myself YOU DO NOT NEED ANY MORE HIGHLIGHTERS - but of course low and behold I didn't listen... Anyway I am glad I didn't because my Glow Kit In Sundipped has become an essential part of my make up bag and I simply LOVE IT. My favourite shade is moonstone which gives you the most beautiful glow. I was really surprised at how large the pans were to, you really are getting 4 full sized highlighters for the price you can pay for 1 or 2. Now I have my eye on the new ones that have come out!
