Karen Millen AW-16

As if by magic summer if pretty much over. Say goodbye to the pastel pinks & baby blues and say hello to the deep burgundy's  & pretty plums (oooh doesn't it sound lovely!). I can't deny that I am a little bit excited for Autumn. I'm ready for it. I love layering, give me all the scarves, knits and ankle boots and I'll be one happy lady! So anyway, I decided to start shopping around ready for my AW16 wardrobe - eep! And right now Karen Millen are giving my all the A/W vibes with their new collection, I'm sure you are going to want to pop more than a few in your basket....

This simple, yet sophisticated High neck Chevron Blouse has to be my one of my favourites from the AW range. The stunning neckline and delicate feminine arm detailing make it look so expensive. It is so effortless to style - It could be worn to work with understated black trousers or a black pencil skirt, then dressed up in the evening with blue jeans, nude heels & a statement necklace. £99.00

Another of my favourite picks would have to be the stunning Studded Shirt Dress this elegant beauty comes in two different shades Black or Dark Red. To be honest I really can't decide which of the two I prefer, so unfortunately for my bank account I'd had to get both. I like how the dress crosses the line between masculine and feminine with the hard looking studs being contrasted to the much softer flowing skirt. The deep red dress would look stunning in the day styled with suede boots and a tan cross body bag. Whereas the black dress would dress up beautifully with a pair of gold barely there sandals and a black and gold clutch. £250.00

My final pick and possibly my favourite of the bunch are these stunning Faux Leather leggings - I think leather leggings are an absolute A/W wardrobe staple simple because they are so effortlessly stylish and Instantly dress up a look. They are the perfect layering piece looking amazing under jumpers and knits, shirt dresses, long lined tee's & shirts. They are an item that can be dressed down with converse or up with a pair of statement heels. This pair from Karen Millen are the perfect style as they are high waisted and have a hint of stretch meaning you don't have to compromise on comfort. £110.00

A/W Accessories 

Layers upon layers upon layers are where it's at in A/W - they add depth, colour and texture to an outfit and allow you to take something very simple into something pretty damn statement! Get patterned scarves, some oxblood leather gloves and some sparkly jewellry and you're all set! Whack it all together and you're pretty much Cara Delevinge?
