I hope the fact that it's now be the 3rd of October and this post was supposed to go live on the 1st isn't a sign of my organisation for the rest of month! I've been a lil' behind this last week, and multi-tasking has been my best friend! It's amazing how many things you can get done in an hour after 4 coffees! (However I wouldn't recommend it!)
Start Planning Seasonal Content - If you've been following my blog since last Christmas you will know I LOVE a Gift Guide - so I already can't wait to start planning those! Also I want to get some Halloween content up! I can see a cheeky Lush Halloween haul coming!
Get RID of the spiders - My house is full of them right now, and I actually can't deal with it! If anyone has any tips on managing the little buggers, please do fill me in!! Do conkers actually work? If so, I'm adding those to my to do list! Visit my Nana & Granddad - My Nana and Granddad live in Cornwall, and so we rarely get to see them, I find that you always end up having an excuse as to why you can't go (the 5 hour car journey being one of them) but me and Rich decided we just need to go for it. So next weekend we are heading down and spending some quality time with them. I'm really looking forward to it - it's also a great chance to eat all the sea-food! Have a cosy night in with a scary film - I'm not actually a fan of horror movies. I love them at the time, but then I can't sleep for the next 12 weeks.... however I feel like now I have my own home, I can't miss the chance to have a sleepover with the girls and scare ourselves silly with a horror! (knowing me it'll end up being finding nemo...) Get pinning for Autumn - My Pinterest feed is looking VERY summery still so it's time to start pinning away leaves, jumpers and all the cosyness for the next few months! Maybe I'll even start an Autumn board.. who knows! Decorate the house for Halloween - This is the first "occasion" I have been in my own home for, so obviously I've gotta' get a little pumpkin happy! I'm going to try and hit up home-sense and get ALL the cute accessories! Have a clear out - of everything! - I really need to pack away the remaining bits of "summer" and unpack all my winter coats etc from boxes. Whilst I'm doing it I plan to go through everything and have a proper clear out! I really need to try this whole "capsule wardrobe" thing, I like the idea but I don't know if I could actually do it.

I'm definitely in need of a clear out so that's at the top of my to do list as soon as I get a spare minute! I'm working pretty much everyday at the moment so it's hard to find the time to stop and appreciate where I am Leave a Reply. |
