Oh hi there, just another monthly reminder from me that this year is going so FLIPPIN' fast! September is always one of my favourite months of the year, and to be honest I'm kind of sad it's already *almost* over! The leaves are starting to fall, the air has that crisp to it and my boots are out of the closet! Let's get this Autumn show on the road! Here are the things I L O V E D in September.
ONE: Holibobs - obviously I can't do this post with-out mentioning my September holiday, because that clearly was my FAVE thing in September. We headed to Portugal for a divine 8 days with Richard, my sister and her boyfriend. It was a dream from start to finish, and now I'm already ready to start planning my next trip!
TWO: Doctor Foster - OH EM GEE - why had nobody told me about this before!? I saw a few people talking about on Twitter recently and decided to see what all the fuss was about. I am well and truly HOOKED - I'm only one series 1 episode 3. I reckon I will have finished the lot before the end of this weekend! Don't give my any spoilers!!
THREE: Jacket Potatoes - Is there actually anything better in the world than a Jacket Potato (usually with Cheese & beans). Now the colder nights are rolling in, you simply cannot beat the homely comfort of a spud, some butter and your fave toppings.
FOUR: Lisa Jewell Books - Whilst I was in Portugal at the start of Sept my sister recommended the book "I Found You - by Lisa Jewell". It is honestly SO gripping, the definition of a page turner. It starts off where a woman calls Alice see's a man sitting on the beach in the rain, he has no idea who he is or why he is there (I can't tell you anymore - spoiler!!) but you HAVE to read it! I have already picked up her next book (above) "Then she was gone" which I can't wait to get started on!
Five: Photography - I think the new Autumn season has helped me to fall back in <3 with my photography. I've been spending every second I can (of day-light which is limited) taking flatlays and getting my Autumn cosy photo's ready!
SIX: Blogging Friends <3 - Kirby - My absolute favourite blogger friendKirby came to stay with me for the weekend this month. I absolutely adore her and I've so glad we have managed to keep in good contact even though she lives in London, and I live in Derby. She came to stay at my new house, we drank all the G&T's (literally), went out for Tapas (can't really remember the Tapas - Drunk eyes) and we visited Chatsworth house on the Sunday. We basically didn't stop talking ALL weekend and I miss her already <3 (her insta)
SEVEN: Accessorize - Lovelily - Don't mind me, I'm just still here desperate to cling on to the last bit of summer fragrance! Can we start by pointing out how gorgeous the packaging is - it is definitely one for popping on top of your dressing table! Next, the beautiful scent. Wow! It features notes of raspberry, orange and sweet vanilla- all of which are right up my street! It's long lasting and super moreish! One I'd recommended adding onto your "to smell" list!
EIGHT: Batch Cooking - I feel like Autumn/Winter is the best time to get batch cooking! I made a huge batch of my favourite Chilli Con Carne the other weekend, and managed to freeze it ready for another 6 meals. It's so handy to just grab out the freezer. plus when it's warm comfort food there is simply nothing better.
NINE: Making Christmas Plans - Yep I said it - I'm starting to plan Christmas!! I reallllly want to head to an amazing Christmas Market this year, we are thinking of maybe heading up to Scotland in November/December visiting either Glasgow or Edinburgh. I've started having a nosy at the different options and I've already found some DREAMY hotels I'd love to stay in,
TEN: Proskin Leggins - If you know me well, you'll know I am ALL about the comfort factor, So, when I was asked by Proskins to give their legging's a try I practically jumped at the chance! The Slim Classic Black Legging's are not only the comfiest and best fitted legging's I have EVER worn - they also have a hidden secret! They contain tiny micro-capsules which house different ingredients such as caffeine, aloe vera and vitamin E, these ingredients work together and mean that the legging's are actually clinically proven to aid slimming and reduce cellulite! I haven't been wearing them for long enough to comment on that, but you can read all about them for yourselveshere. I would HIGHLY suggest taking a look at these clever leggings, I can definitely vouch for the comfort of them, I virtually haven't taken mine off!! Shop themhere.
What's made you happy this month!? I hope you had a fabulous September.

I love the sound of those leggings and would definitely love to try them out for myself! I’ve been loving slow cooker meals for sure lately! As well as country walks!
