As much as I love a bath, like REALLY love a bath, sometimes there just isn't enough time in my day to spend 40 lounging around in bubbles (although side-note I do my emails on my phone in the bath so my baths are actually pretty productive). But on the days where time is short, a shower is obviously the answer. I always like to ensure even a 5 minute shower is a little retreat that leaves me feeling fabulous and relaxed, Because why not make those little moments nicer and more luxurious?
Lush - The Comforter Shower Cream
This Shower Cream is described as a "Cuddle in a bottle" and honestly, I can't think of a better description. The comforter does exactly what it says on the tin - it comforts. I love to reach for this on days where I am maybe a little stressed/tired and need a pick me up. It instantly boosts my mood and of course leaves my skin nourished and smelling dreamy The fragrance is prominently blackberry and it is super sweet, if you love Snow Fairy you are bound to love this! It contains Almond oil to hydrate and Bergamot Oil to cleanse and uplift. You can pick The Comforter up here.
Nuxe - Precious Scented Shower Oil
My ultimate go-to shower TREAT - the Nuxe Precious scented shower oil. This is my #1 and has been ever since I first tried a sample in a beauty box. It is the wash I reach for when I fancy something luxurious and want to treat my skin. It is described as an oil, but it has a thicker and more gel-like texture to other oils I have tried - which I like. It lathers up well into an almost silky foam and is also great for shaving. The scent is simply beautiful, a delicate, sweet, clean scent that you NEED to sniff! The oil has slight golden shimmer pigments in it which leaves your skin with a very subtle glow. Although pricey at £10.00 a tube for a shower gel, it is honestly worth every single penny and I will continue to buy it over and over again! *Plus boots often have it on 3 for 2! Get yours here.
The Body Shop - Cocoa Butter Shower Cream
This is the dream cream I always reach for if my skin is feeling particularly dry, it's the best out of the 3 for giving my skin the moisture its craving and it really does leave my skin baby soft! The consistency is super creamy/buttery which feels really luxurious to apply, which is always what I look for in a body wash. The scent is sweet like my other two picks, so I am sure you can see a trend by now! It leaves a light sweet, cocoa scent to the skin. It's currently on sale at £3.50 for 100ml rather than £5.00 so I might have picked up a few bottles! Get yours on offer here,
