10 Reasons I am SO Excited for the lead up to Christmas...

Apologies in advance to any Scrooges out there who think I'm WAY to early to the party, but things are about to get V Festive around here -woohoo! I'm VERY excited and here are the things I am looking forward to the most!  

1. Buying Presents!!
Obviously there is always going to be a bit of LOVE/HATE with this because ££££££! However I have to say my absolute FAVE thing about Christmas is buying presents! I LOVE the feeling of watching someone opening something that you know you have put time and effort into thinking about and that you know they’re going to LOVE! There is no greater feeling.

2. Christmas Markets
I’m a sucker for a Christmas Market! But then again who isn’t? Mulled Wine – CHECK. Wrapping up cosy – CHECK. Hot Dogs/Roast Chestnuts – CHECK. Cute gift Stalls – CHECK! 

3. Christmas Films
My favourite is OF COURSE Elf - I watch it about 4 times religiously every single year and I never get bored of it! Is there anything in the world more cosy than a night in with a Christmas Movie! Whats your fave?

4. Making Plans
Christmas Time comes with a lot of PLANNING and seeing as I'm an organisation F R E A K it's one of my FAVE things to do. Planning NYE Idea's, Christmas Day Idea's, Celebrations with my Friends and MORE festive activities...

5. Decorations!!!! *DECK THE HALLS*
As you will more than likely already know (as I don't stop banging on about it) that this will be my first Christmas in my own home! Obviously this means that I need to buy ALL the decorations! And I'm so excited about it! I picked up a few bits from The White Company already, and I can't wait to see what other things I can pick up!

6. Our Works Christmas Party...
Every year I am in charge of organising the works Christmas do.. therefore it usually involves a fair few Cocktails – woo-hoo! I always feel a lot of pressure to make it good, but when it comes to the actual night I always feel so much more relaxed and it’s always such a fun night!

7. Sending Christmas Cards
I’m a bit of a loser and actually L O V E sending Christmas Cards… especially in the post. Cute aren’t i? Every year I spend ages picking out the designs and also spend and age writing cute little messages in each. Ahh I sound so fun…

8. Choosing My Advent Calendar(s)!!
​I don’t think you’re ever too old for a Chocolate Advent calendar so this year I will be buying myself and Richard one for SURE. However now that Beauty Advent Calendars are on the scene to, I feel like it would be rude not to pick one of those up to! My D R E A M one would of course be the Liberty Advent Calendar or maybe the Diptyque one – but they are a littleeee out of my reach (budget). Do you have any you would recommend or have  you seen any that might tickle my fancy!?

9. Christmas Songs
It’s only truly Christmas when you start hearing the Christmas songs on the radio, and/or when you’re walking through Sainsbury’s. I will have the Christmas Spotify Playlists blasting out ASAP through my house, my ear-phones and in my CAR! Oh I wish It could be Christmas everydaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! 

10. Driving Home For Christmas...
On Friday 22nd December, I will be leaving work and Driving Home For Christmas!!! And I’m bloody excited about it! There is no better feeling than shutting your computer down at work and driving home listening to Christmas songs, knowing you’ve got a nice break in front of you! I am lucky enough that my work place shuts down over the Christmas period.
