Hello my old china's - I hope you're well. Despite having a cold so bad that I can only describe as feeling like having a fly zipping round you head making you feel dizzy, whilst it's throwing rocks at your brain, I'm feeling pretty positive. I thought I'd share some new loves in my life that I have been excited to talk about! Milani have been on of the brands on my "to-do" list for as long as I can remember. I have heard SO many good things from Beauty Bloggers and You Tubers about them and so naturally it was time to try them for myself! I was kindly sent across a selection of my choice from Just My Look, and I have been testing them for the past few months now. Come and see what I thought.
Milani Conceal & Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation & Concealer
I am a V picky foundation person, I tend to find one I love and stick to it for months on end before switching it up. Hence why it took me a good few weeks to actually pick this up and give it a try. When I first pumped it onto the back of my hand I was a little worried as it seemed super thick, however once applied on my face it blended like a dream and even though it is thick, it didn't feel it on my skin. The coverage is very high coverage so if you like a really light/natural look, this might not be for you. It instantly made my face look "flawless" and covered any blemishes/dark circles that concealer would usually help with (hence the 2-in-1 name). It lasted all day, and my usual power/bronzer/blush and highlight blended on top like a dream. The other positive to note is that it didn't dry out my skin which happens a lot with foundations for me. My only drawbacks with this foundation are that, for one, although I didn't feel like I needed under eye concealer because this did such a good job of covering it up, I usually use my concealer for brightening, which I didn't feel I was able to as I didn't want to add more to my face and end up looking cakey. Also I am fairly pale and chose shade 2 - which was still waaaayy to dark for me, after adding The Body Shop's lightening drop I was able to use it fine, but be aware the shades are darker than you'd expect. However for £10.99 I can honestly say I am VERY impressed with this foundation and if you are looking for something with high coverage I would highly recommend giving it a try. Get yours HERE.
Milani Baked Bronzer in Shade Soleil
As a lover of matte bronzer shades I was skeptical about a bronzer with "a bitta shimmer" in it. I already use about 12 tonnes of highlight on my cheekbones so I wasn't sure if it was going to be "too much" if you know what I mean. My first impressions were how stunning the product was, on first swatch on my finger the pigmentation was strong and the colour pay-off is amazing. When applied on my face it instantly warmed up my face whilst giving me a sun-kissed glow. Thats right, not really tacky/sparkly, just glowing. It blends well and its the perfect warm tone. So yep, I eat my words, you can never have to much glow and this is exactly what this product gives you. Get yours HERE.
Milani Powder Blush - Bella Roses
From looks alone, this beauty got pushed straight to the number 1 spot of Milani products just because OH MY GOD I NEED TO INSTAGRAM THIS RIGHT NOW. The design and attention to detail is like nothing I have ever seen before, and only once I had included it in a bunch of up-coming blog photos did I allow myself to use it - it was SO hard to ruin the pretty pattern - I'm sure you can understand. The product itself is good, especially for the price point, I don't think you have to spend to much on blushers to get a good product. It gives me a pretty pink flush with-out making me look like I've just ran up the stairs and I have found myself reaching for it quite often. Get yours HERE.
Milani Matte Lip Cream - Loved
More packaging goals can be found with-in this product, they have kept the design simple, yet the gold lid and accents really makes the product feel luxury - when in fact costing a mere £7.99 - lovely! The shade LOVED is a beautiful dusky pinky/nudey brown (I'm so bad at describing shades - help). The formula itself is matte, without being over drying and I found that it was pretty long-lasting. Due to having such dry lips through-out winter I haven't been able to wear it as much as I would have liked, lip balms have been my bestie. but I am excited for summer when I can hopefully get more wear out of it! Get yours HERE.
Overall I am VERY impressed with Milani, I liked every single one of the products, and especially for the price point I don't think you can go wrong! I am looking forward to trying out more products from them, and I am planning on picking up the foundation in a lighter shade. You can shop the whole Milani range on Just My Look.

Milani is my #1 drugstore brand! I love their high pigmented blushes (I have 3!) their liquid lipsticks come in the best shade ranges and I've got 3 of their foundations all for different skin tones so I can use them all throughout the year :)
