After looking back through my monthly favorites post - I realised how many TIDAN (things I don't actually need - did I just create a new phrase? Probably not) I buy every month - I'm so sorry bank balance. This month I have stripped it down to the bare necessity's (that including a new Jo Malone scent I deffo didn't need, but hey I smell fab & also some biscuits, because well biscuits!) But anyway, this month I am just introducing you to 6 new things I have been loving - compared to my usual 7472, so I hope its a little easier for you to take in - ooh look at me being all thifty. However of course there is obviously my little ASOS haul at the bottom to, but that doesn't count, ok?
Jo Malone Cologne
So, after drooling over all things Jo Malone for a fair while (since I’m totally Adult now, I’m allowed to dream about candles & hand soaps), seeing the beautiful packaging over my Instagram feed and smelling the divine scents on my friends & in their homes, I finally took the plunge and picked myself up a Cologne. This isn’t just any old perfume, the whole process is an “experience” and from start to finish it was bloody fantastic. I headed to the John Lewis Store on Oxford Street and I was looked after by the most lovely lady who helped me choose the most perfect scent for me. She then treated me to a Jo Malone Hand Massage, therefore leaving the store feeling pretty damn fabulous and smelling even better. The scent for me, Pomegranate Noir was kind of a non-brainer. However I can’t deny being a little tempted by Peony & Blush******** which is next on my hit list. The scent is perfect for autumn and leaves me feeling all warm and cosy. Someone just needs to put me on rations because I found myself dousing my PJ’s in it the other day – I might end up getting through it a little quicker than I would of hoped..
What is your Jo Malone Scent? What should I try next? STARSKIN - Plumping & Hydrating Lip Masks
Any Beauty Bloggers will know that alongside the job title comes a lotta' make up sample, and a lot of lipsticks to test - this all sounds wonderful and yes it really is. However. Unfortunately I have been blessed with dry/chapped lips - grr - not ideal when wanting to test lipsticks. No matter whether it's winter or summer my lips are always dry. Trust me when I say I have tried near enough every lip-balm on the market and even tried asking the Doc's and nothing will work (please do let me know if you have any other suggestions). The ONLY thing and when I say the ONLY thing that seems to do any good are these absolute BABES - the Starskin Lip Masks - you simply put the sheet over your lips (don't worry there is a breathing hole to stop you dying) and leave them on for 15 minutes. I usually do mine just before I go to bed and wake up with my lips being 99% better, not perfect, but the best I've ever seen them. They sooth, hydrate and comfort my lips whilst also making them look so much better. I wish I could afford to use these every single day, but at £8.50 a packet they aren't the cheapest solution. I tend to do a mask about once a week - and have been doing throughout September and I really have noticed a difference.. If you also suffer from Dry Lips - please do give them ago and let me know what you think! They have recently sold out on Beauty Bay and are in LOW STOCK on ASOS, so you need to grab some whilst you can!
Oval Rose Gold Brush Set
If you haven’t seen these quite peculiar looking make-up brushes around for the last few months, firstly which rock have you been hiding under? When I first spotted them, I think on Lydia Millen’s Snapchat I thought what the bloody hell is that - wondering why anyone would want to use a giant toothbrush on their face? However as they became more and more popular and I saw people creating these incredible results with them I started to get the “I need it” urge, the one, where you “need” things that you really don’t “need” , yano? Luckily Sweet Sophia Shop came to the rescue and sorted me out with these STUNN-AHS to give a try. Firstly, whether they worked well or not I happily took them under my wing purley for Instagram/Blog Prop purposes because they’re just so god damn pretty!
But… unfortunately for me they aren’t going to stay to pretty for long because they are bloody WONDERFUL! So they will be getting the full Georgie everyday usage, sorry babes. The only way I can describe how they get my make up looking is FLAWLESS, totally and utterly FLAWLESS. The larger brushes blend my Foundation, Concealer and Contour like a D R E A M – leaving me looking like Gigi or Kendall (not really but you get the jist). I have to admitt I prefer the larger foundation sized brushes rather than the smaller ones, I just can't get the hang of them with eye-shadow - so I will stick to my big fluffy blending brushes for now. At only £29.00 you can pick up the full setHERE. Enjoy ! TV Choice - Our Girl
Our Keegs (Michelle Keegan - I still can't accept that she is Mrs Wright now) has absolutely pulled it out of the bag with this one, I am utterly HOOKED. Showing on Wednesdays at 9pm (you can catch up online) the program is about a woman (Keegs) who is a trained army medic, who goes off on a humanitarian tour to Kenya. It is very real feeling and quite scary in parts, whilst opening your eyes to what is actaully going on in the world. It also combines a love story when she comes across the man who left her at the alter years beforehand. I must state this kind of program would never be my kind of thing, and if someone had described the plot to me I would have put money on me not enjoying it, but it honestly has had me gripped from the word GO and I find myself so excited for the next episode every week! If you've already been watching it let me know your thoughts (and how HOT is Elvis) and if you've missed it, be sure to catch up and lemme know!
NYX - Lingerie Liquid Lipsticks
As far as my liquid lip game goes – to be honest I don’t have the greatest of experience – I have never tried the ABH ones, Kat Von D or Kylie Cosmetics – I know, I should be in Beauty Blogger Jail – however if you have read this post from the start you’ll have seen that I suffer with Dry Lips – yup, it’s annoying as hell. And means that liquid lips, usually being quite drying don’t really hit the spot for me. However I decided since they’re super affordable and not to mention Instagram pretty, why not give the NYX ones a go – at only £6.50 a pop HERE I picked up 3 shades. Push Up, Honeymoon and Satin Ribbon (left to right in the picture). I really have fallen in love with them – I’m not saying I can wear them everyday as my lips wont allow it – however when I’m off out I will whack one on. They last all evening and have stayed on perfectly even after me eating/drinking. I also love that I can’t really tell I am wearing it, it doesn’t’ feel uncomfortable on my lips like other products have. My favourite shade out of the 3 would have to be Push Up – it’s the perfect Nude. Honeymoon is a little dark for me to be honest, but maybe now Autumn is upon us, I might be able to get away with it. It’s made me want to pick up some more high end liquid lips now, as maybe I can get away with them after all! If you have any recommendations for hydrating ones, I’d love to hear!
The Biscuiteers

Jo Malone and Diptyque are my weaknesses when it comes to perfume. I adore the Peony and Blush Suede Cologne but haven't had a sniff of Pomegranate Noir yet...will be sure to have a spritz next time I'm near a counter.
