As you will probably be well aware of by now, I am a pretty avid Beauty Box lover! So when I saw Look Fantastic had teamed up with my favourite magazine (ELLE) I knew I had to have a nosy at what they had pulled together. If it sounds like something you might like to, stick around! ...
I am V excited to announce that I am typing this at approx 5:05pm and ITS STILL LIGHT, yes people it's still LIGHTT! Which means we can actually go out and do things in the evening, rather than, yano, snuggling on the sofa with a hot choc. MySpring Wish List seemed to go down pretty well with you guys, and seeing as there are SO many pretty items floating around at the moment (particularly of the blush pink colour), I thought hey, why not do another one! So with-out further a-do here are some more of the spring/summer loveliness I'm lusting over right out now. Enjoy!
In February I recently completed a MONTH OF KIEHL'S - 28 days of only using Kiehl's products on my skin/hair and body and oh boy it was fabulous. Let's just say it was the only "detox" of sort, I've actually manged to stick to! I tried a hell of a lot of products over the 28 days, however I still kind of feel like I have a Kiehl's shaped hole inside me that is longing to try some of the other dreamy sounding products! I thought I'd put together a little wish list, so that you can see what's next on my A G E N D A. And maybe also let me know if you have tried any of them yourself?
Following on from my first Mother's Day Post - Why Send Flowers, when you can send Biscuiteers (trust me it's a yummy one), I thought I'd share my second lot of Mother's Day Gift Inspo goodness in the form of some fabulous looking bath treats from Lush. Their Mother's Day Collection launched a few weeks ago, and I simply couldn't resist picking some up, and trialling them (for gift guide purposes obviously). I just wanted to make sure they were up to scratch for all the mumma's out there ok, so I was your guinea pig. Your welcome! Come and see what they've got to offer!
When I was younger, every Christmas my auntie would be me a gift set from The Body Shop. I used to think I was SO cool at school, with my The Body Shop pink lipgloss and matching lip-balms. One year specifically I can remember getting a gold dusting puff, where you would squeeze the nozzle and oomphh have a gold dusting over your body. Who wouldn't want gold dusting all over their body? So, It's safe to say why you can see that The Body Shop holds a special place in my gold dusted heart. I recently had a V lovely delivery from the PR team full of lots of new goodies to try, less pink lipgloss and more nude lipstick (however there is nothing wrong with a bright pink lipgloss if you ask me!) I thought I'd share with you the products, and my thoughts on them.
I'm sure the title is pretty self explanatory on this post, and I'm not slating flowers because hey pass me the Peonies, but yano if I had the choice, flower shaped biscuits would win. Why? Well because YUM! This is my first post in what will probably be a couple of Mother's Day Gift Guides, you should know by now I bloody love my gift guides! However I can assure you this one will by far be the tastiest. Now come on and have a nosy, before I eat them all!
I always have, and probably always will, love going abroad. There is something so unique about experiencing a different culture, different climates (usually sunny if I'm picking) and creating the most amazing memories. However I have recently been thinking how much I do actually enjoy UK breaks, maybe not 2 week long ones, but the odd long weekend break here and there really satisfies the wanderlust that is forever inside of me. There is a lot to discover in the UK, and most of that I am yet to visit and are on my to-do list, but for now I thought I'd put together my current Top 3 UK city breaks, and where I would recommended for you to stay, eat and drink!
Oh Hey, Happy Friday Chicka's - Who's ready for the weekend? I bloody am. I actually took the photos in this post on a rather dull, rainy Saturday at the end of Feb. I didn't have any intention of using them, I was frankly rather bored and decided to have a play around with my camera. I then sat and realised I had just wasted 20 minutes of my day off, taking pictures of a rainy window. Well done Georgie. From that second I decided to get off my bum, and make the rest of the day as productive as possible, hence where this post was born! Here are my top tips for productive things to do on a rainy day!
The one thing I like to spend a few more penny's on than anything else, is handbags. They're my weakness. (Alongside wine, chocolate and tango ice-blasts at the cinema obvs - but that's another story). I have had a few designer bags in my collection over the years, but I also have had some fabulous high-street handbags that have lasted SO well. I thought I'd put together my current 3 most used handbags. 2 Designer, 1 High Street.
HAPPPPYY MARCHHH! Wahooo Roll on sunshine, Easter chocolate and maybe even some bare legs *note to self, shave ya legs*. But sadly, I actually have to kick March off with a kind of sad note. Please get the violins out, and a few pats on the back ready for me (maybe a large glass of wine to), because alas, with a heavy heart, my Kiehl's month is over. Where did the month go? I don't know either. But it only feels like yesterday I was writing this post introducing you to all the products I was planning on testing out over the last 28 days. Now it's time for the round up, the big finale, the end. Let's see my overall thoughts of the month, and also a round up of the posts I've done! Just in case you missed em'!
