Kiehl's Month: Hair Care

Oh Hey! I'm not sure how/when/what/why but we are ALREADY into week 3 of my Kiehl's detox. And I'm bloomin' loving it. It is for-filling all of my organisational dreams, I am able to leave my lil' skin care line up out on the side in the order I need to use them, rather than messing around testing 92 different moisturisers and applying 4 different eye creams. It's bloody fantastic. However this week I have been focusing on Hair Care - when I say focusing, I basically mean I've actually washed it a few more times than usual rather than relying on dry shampoo to hold onto my hair until Fri-YAY. Here is what my MANE has been lovin' this week.

Sunflower Colour Preserving Shampoo & Conditioner.

I had never tried any Kiehl's Shampoo/Conditioner before and after my love for the other products I had tried I couldn't get in the shower quick enough to test these beauty's out! The colour preserving factor has come at the perfect time for me as I have just recently had my hair highlighter after years of letting my natural colour come through. It has taken a toll on the condition of my hair and so I couldn't wait to put some moisture back into it. The products are formulated without parabens, and are sulphate and silicon-free. It leaves my hair feeling as clean as ever whilst still feeding it with the moisture it is seriously craving. Using alongside my styling product (below)this shampoo and this conditioner have really upped my hair game leaving it shiny and healthy looking and feeling! Win Win.

Kiehl's Smoothing Oil-Infused Leave-In Concentrate.

Oooooh babyyyy - this my friends, this right here is my little secret (or not so secret) miracle product. When I started my Kiehl's "detox" I wasn't a complete Kiehl's virgin, there were some products I already used and swear by, and this right here is one of them. Yano when you have one of those products that you actually can't imagine living with-out? Like I actually feel panicked at the thought. Yurp, it's one of those. Could I build this up anymore if I tried? The first thing I have to mention is the smell, oh boy it leaves my hair smelling goooooood, It's quite sweet which is right up my street! I apply a few pumps to the ends of damp hair before drying it, It honestly leaves my hair silky soft, shiny without looking greasy and I also find it keeps my split ends/fly aways at bay! Basically I can't imagine styling my hair without it and you can pick it uphere.

Have you ever tried any Kiehl's haircare products? What are your go-to's?

Georgie xo

I am loving this review! (great photographs too by the way) I have never tried anything from their haircare range, but now I am glad that you've introduced these lovely products to us.

My go to for haircare when drying it is a heat resistant and detangling moisturising spray by umberto giannini and an arguably oil styling oil by schwarzkopft! Similar to that oil you use :)

This hairstyling has also inspired me. Who like professional-quality results it's very useful to them. it very well may be silicone-free as well. I liked your very thorough research and opinion on these clean products. However, the newest ingredient that hair care products are avoiding is silicones. So I’m curious as to what is being used in these products, to make it a successful.
