With the summer (hopefully) on it's way - my skin is starting to change and with that so is my skin care regime. So when AHAVA got in touch to ask if I wanted to put some of their products to the test, I jumped at the chance! I have heard lots of good things about the brand, and so it was super easy for me to pick 4 products out from the #SeaKissed campaign! I thought I'd share with you my thoughts on them! And of course it gave me the chance to photograph this B E A U T I F U L packaging!
AHAVA - DRY OIL BODY MIST
First up and probably my favourite out of all the products, is the Dry Oil Body Mist. I am actually struggling to find the words on how to describe this, because there is actually TOO much to say. But hey, I'll give it a try! So first up we need to talk about the SCENT! Oh my goodness, one spray of this onto my skin and I'm instantly transported onto a tropical beach - with a cocktail in my hand of course! I'm not sure what it is but it just reminds me of holidays, summer and seakissed skin! What could be better? The product feels really refreshing on your skin, whilst also giving you a good hit of moisture. It applys as an oil but once rubbed in it doesn't leave your skin feeling oily, which is something I was worried about. It simply keeps it smooth, soft and hydrated throughout the day! I can't image not using this now, and I've already got half of my family hooked on it! If you're thinking of picking up a product from AHAVA - please make it this one, it's now an everyday must for me!
AHAVA - PURIFYING & INSTANT DETOX MUD MASKS
Now these products are ones I am V excited to share with you! If you have read my blog for a little while you will know that I am a BIG fan of Face masks! In fact, I bloody love them. The one thing I hate though - not having the time to do them! Well this is where these beautys come in. You only have to leave them on for 2 minutes!!! Yes seriously, 2 minutes! Compared to the usual 20-30 minute time for a mask, it means that I am able to do masks more regularly and treat my skin, with-out having to take to much time out of my day. The best thing about it though? I actually get better results from these two in 2 minutes, than I have with masks I've had to leave on for 30 minutes! I have been testing both the detox mask and the purifying mask and I've been using them both alongside each other. I reach for the detox mask if my skin is looking a little dull and needs a pick me up, this mask moisturisers, hydrates and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean. On the other hand I use the purifying mask when maybe I've been neglecting my skin, or if I have had my face caked in heavy make up for too long. It cleans and calms the skin, helping with any irritation and redness, leaving my skin soothed and nourished. I love both masks, they both do different things for my skin and both work in different ways, yet they both still give the same quick and amazing results. I couldn't recommend them more.
AHAVA - DEAD SEA OSMOTER FACE CONCENTRATE
This serum is designed to use alongside your everyday moisturiser! I love this concept because it means we are able to enhance the skincare you are already using. I have been using it everyday before my moisturiser in the morning and evening. Since I have been using it I have noticed a huge difference mainly in the brightness of my skin - it looks so much healthier and "glowy". The serum applies so smoothly and absorbs into the skin with ease, I like this because it doesn't feel to heavy on the skin meaning adding moisturiser on top isn't a problem. If my opinion isn't enough I would also recommend having a look through the amazing reviews that people have written on this product it's done wonders for so many people.
