Why hello there August, where did you come from? We are somehow getting closer to A/W and I feel like it's been the quickest year of my life so far. I can't lie though, there is a tiny bit inside of me that is a lil' bit excited for scarves, cosy nights in by the fire, and mulled wine obvs! Here is my little August to do list - <3
More Greenery
If it's even possible, after how many I brought in July, I want to add even more GREEN to my home by using houseplants. I think they add such a lovely touch to a room. Plus I quite enjoy the responsibility of being a PLANT MOM.
Hen-do Planning!
I've mentioned it before, but my best friend is getting married next June and being Maid of Honour, I am responsible for the hen do!!! I am excited, and nervous at the same time. But this month I really want to stop jotting down some ideas, talking to the other hen's and start out-lining a plan! Any tips/ideas will be welcomed with open arms!
110% Back To Blogging
Through-out July I was slowly easy myself back in to blogging after taking a bit of a break, but in August I want to make a full comeback and by the end of the month be back to my 5 days a week posting schedule! Wish. Me. Luck!!!
House Warming Party
Seeing the word "party" next to the word "house" gives me actual shivers down my spine, because red wine - sofa // smashed glasses // shoes on - carpets // I just can't deal with my house getting messy - especially after you spend so long making it look so pretty *& CLEAN!* !! But I am determined to have some kind of house warming/gathering this month! I'll just have to drink all the G&Ts and worry about the mess the next day....
Get A New Outfit for V Festival <3
I got Richard tickets for V Fest for his birthday and we are heading there on the 19th August to see Jay Z (& the rest of the acts that I can't remember off the top of my head, and also can't be arsed to google - soz) and I am determined to look some what FESTIVALLY (not sure thats a word...) Maybe I'll even put some glitter on my face! Cray cray, I know.
Find Healthier Snacks
Rather than reaching for the Doritos's (YUM) or Ben & Jerry's on a Friday night I want to try and find healthier options that are equally as tasty! I have been trying a few new ones in July, but I want to discover even more in August. My favourite new snacks so far have been frozen grapes, so simple yet SO tasty. I have also been loving the Coconut Collaborative Little Lemon temptations (photo below)- they're creamy, although dairy free and taste indulgent minus the calories. YUM <3 Find out more about the pudshere.
What are you August to do's? Any exciting plans for the month?
