Why hello there! Long time no see! I won't keep apologising on each of my intermittent posts otherwise you'll probably get sick of me saying it and never come back! But like I said in my previous post, you'll all understand soon why I have been so MIA and I will have lots of new content coming over the summer! And speaking of summer, today's post is all about keeping SUN SAFE! Something I deem very important, and so should you! I tried out some Palmer's sun care and also some items to help along your holiday skin!

Palmers Eventone Suncare Cocoa Butter SPF 50

Obviously when talking about holiday skin the first thing we need to discuss is SPF - since I have very fair skin, which burns easily I always use a high factor sun-cream. I have to apply them regularly whilst also ensuring I keep out of the sun as much as I can, (An umbrella and a sun-hat on holiday are my two best friends). I always struggle to find the perfect sun-creams, I have my favourites but they are usually bank-breaking expensive and so I was excited to give Palmer's SPF a try which comes in a lot more affordable. The cocoa butter sunscreen is a fabulous find for me, not only does the spray application make it so easy to apply whilst being out and about, it also doesn't leave the awful white residue a lot of SPF creams leave you with. The formula soaks in effortlessly and instantly made my skin feel soft and moisturised. I found that it protected my skin really well and it was also great for use in water with it being water resistant. It allowed me to relax a little more on holiday with-out having to worry as much. The other points it promotes are that it helps to prevent Dark Spots, Uneven skin tone and premature ageing.
You can pick the SPF30 Spray and SPF 50 Spray up from Superdrug here.

Palmers Dry Oil Mist Hair Elixir

I'm not usually a fan of hair oils on a day to day basis, but on holiday - they're an essential! Due to the fact I have had blonde highlights in my hair, my hair can easily dry out and need some moisture. I always think that holidays are the perfect time to treat your hair so I always apply hair masks and oils whilst I am just lounging around the pool. This hair oil mist is perfect for on the go on holiday, because unlike hair masks and other sprays I have tried, this fine mist doesn't leave a heavy residue on your hair, and it doesn't make it look/feel greasy. I simply pop it in my beach bag and spray my hair through-out the day! It contains 8 essential oils which create a number of benefits for your hair including moisturising your hair and scalp and combating frizz. Ooh it smells rather yummy to! I also noticed that after a day in the sun, getting back to your room and washing your hair felt so much nicer because your hair already feels conditioned and doesn't feel too dry from the sun. You can get yours here for £6.99 from Superdrug.

Palmers Natural Bronze Instant Self Tanner

Now as this post is written by me, a VERY pale gal, I had to include a tan in my holiday skin post, because HEY trust me I don't get any glow on from the sun, I just get RED. So I have to have some products to help a girl out. The Palmer's instant bronze self tanner is the perfect holiday tan due to it's moisturising factors, I almost use it to act as a an after sun as well. I simply apply the buttery formula all over, and the guide colour makes it really easy to not miss anywhere and also achieve a streak free tan. It doesn't create a dark deep tan but it does give a sun kissed glow which is exactly what I look for on holiday. You can pick it up here for a very affordable £8.99!

My Mum always used to use Palmer's cocoa butter :) I love using gradual tan - it means I don't have to worry about my tan being streaky! x
