I have been pretty excited to write this post, I can't lie! I guess you could say it's my 2 favourite things combined Holidays + Make Up/Beauty! <3 My holiday make up and cosmetics bag is a lil' different to my average rainy England bag. I tend to go for a bit more bolder colours (when I say bold I mean a pink rather than my every single day choice of NUDE!!!) I also like to have scent that reminds me of sunshine, and make up that looks glowy and light - who doesn't! I am away again for a week in September, so yano, a girl gotta start preparing! Here are the things I plan to pop in my cosmetics bag! Lancome Monsier Big Mascara RRP £21.00This Lancome mascara has slowly made it's way up to my current most used mascara, I've found myself reaching for it time and time again over the last few months and as soon as it runs out I'll be heading straight to the shops to pick up another! It took me a while to like it because at first I think it takes a little getting used to, I find that if I take to long to apply it the product dries and it can get a little messy. However once you have mastered it, it is easily one of the best mascara's I've ever used. It seems to grab hold of every single lash, thickening them, with-out clumping them together, and gives you a false lash effect, with minimal effort. I don't wear make-up in the day on holiday, but at night this product allows me to get a going out-out-out look, with just a few swipes, so I will most certainly be picking up a new one to take away with me in September. Get yours here. NUXE - Delicious Fragrant Water RRP £26.00There can be no denying that the NUXE Fragrant water has to be one of my favourite products of 2017 so far! I can only describe it by saying "A holiday trapped in a bottle" - I took it away with me in June, and there is NO doubt I will be taking it away with me again in September (if I have enough left by then, I can't get enough of it!). The scent is uplifting and sweet, but at the same time, calming and relaxing. I honestly cannot recommend it enough To finish it off, the beautiful bottle would look stunning sat on any dressing table (or being held over the edge of the pool, like I seemed to prefer!). Please do, check it out here, and pick one up! James Read - Coconut Melting Tanning Balm Face & Body RRP £30.00You may think I'm a lil' craaaayzeee adding a fake tan to my holiday cosmetic list, but when you're as pale as me, I'm afraid I have no choice! There is NO chance I will ever get a golden tan from the sun, so instead I have to get it from a pot. A cute pot though, may I add! I was a *little* apprehensive about trying out this tan, only because I'm always scared of trying new tans - they're a nightmare if they go wrong! And 2 - the fact this is a balm, a type that I've not used before. You can store it in the fridge to keep it solid, and then warm it up in some warm water to melt it again. On first application the product feels great on the skin, it instantly soothes and feels moisturising. (I've since read up on it, and it says you don't need to pre-moisturise before tanning with this, because the tan itself gives so much moisture to the skin anyway!) - this makes it even better for me on holiday because obviously with the sun drying out my skin, this almost acts as an extra after-sun. I leave the tan on overnight, and after the first application I had a gorgeous golden glow. 3 Days later I applied again (which is amazing because usually a tan would go patchy doing this!) and it simply just enhanced the colour even more.. like a real tan! I won't be with-out this on holiday ever again! You can pick yours up here. Lancome Matte Shaker - Shade Yummy Pink RRP £19.50If you have been reading my blog for a lil' while, you will probably know by now that I'm more than BORING when it comes to lip colour - I'm a nude gal! However when I go on holibob's I tend to get a bit brave, it must be the sea air or something! This gorgeous pink (Shade - Yummy pink) is just the right pop of colour for me. The second thing that I LOVE about the matte shakers are how pigmented they are even though you literally feel as though there is nothing on your lips. They are so comfortable to wear - and this is coming from someone who is V picky with lip formulas! The packaging is super cute, and the applicator is easy to use. It's basically everything you would want in a holiday lip product! In fact I'm already eyeing up the other shades (engery peach - come at me!) Get yours here. Milani Blusher - Shade - 07 Love Potion RRP: £12.00I have been a HUGE fan of the Milani Blush pans for a long time now, the thing that first drew me to them, was, naturally, the rose design in the product. It simply couldn't get any more Instagramable! However they not only look nice, but they also have great pigmentation and shade ranges. For £12.00 I can 100% say they are wonderful value for money. I like to take a pretty blush on holiday, this shade was kindly sent to me (I usually wear shade Bella Roses) and I first I thought it might be a lil' too dark for my liking, however I always think it's hard to tell with a blusher until you apply it. With this one, I apply it with a light hand and a feathery brush and it adds just the perfect amount of blush which adds some colour to my skin and brings my make-up to life. I can't imagine ever not having a Milani blush in my life <3 Get yours here. What Make Up items do you take away on holiday with you? Is your holiday make up different from your everyday make up bag?! I'd love to hear!
