My Top 5 Affordable Make Up Musts.

I think it's very easy to slip into the habit of featuring a lot of High-end, premium beauty brands & products. I myself am guilty of that. I think its a mixture of the fact they are exciting so you want to share them with people, and also the fact that they are usually luxuriously packaged, therefore an absolute joy for me to photograph!

 However I realised its also important to show that I don't just use MAC, Chanel, NARS, The Balm etc and I also love a bit of Rimmel, LOreal and other drugstore brands. So therefore this post is dedicated to my top 5 current high street beauty brands. They're cheap, cheerful & BRILLIANT! ​

1. Maybelline Fit Me Concealer:
I had always thought nothing would compare to my fave Nars Radiant Creamy concealer, but I'd heard so much about this being so similar to the Nars I had to give it a try. I wasn't expecting much from it to be honest but I was SO wrong - this texture & long lasting formula gives me the EXACT same results as the Nars product that is over triple its price! It doesn't crease, brightens & stays ALL day! Sorry NARS but your gonnneeeeeee!

2. NYX Wonder Stick:
This contour stick is affordably priced & because of that the packaging isn't luxurious, but the product itself is perfect for anyone new to contouring who wants to give it a try! Its also two products in one which makes it even more affordable! It's so easy to use, and the product blends out so easily. If you are thinking of giving contouring a whirl but aren't sure its for you - this would be perfect! There is also a step by step guide inside showing you where to use the shadow & where to use the highlight! Simples!

3. LOreal Paris Infallible Sculpt - Contouring Base Foundation:
I picked up this product on one of my many accidental hauls around Boots, I had heard a few people talk about it & thought Why not! I didn't realise how it would go on to change my WHOLE make up routine - Believe it or not I now reach for this product over my MAC, Estee Lauder or Chanel Foundations! Its got the most beautiful dewy, full coverage that leaves you somehow still look like you're hardly wearing any makeup! Its also an amazing base as its really easy to blend your other products IE Concealer/Contour on top of without looking cakey.  I feel like its hard to me to describe just how good it is! But please just give it a try!

4. LOreal Paris Infallible Blush Trio:
This was another product I picked up on a whim in Boots (I'm so bad), it is a beautiful 3 toned blush which also has an added highlight/shimmer to it. It leaves you with the most beautiful rosy glow. Its also very build-able so you can make it as natural or as pigmented as you desire.

5. Rimmel London Sculpting Palette By Kate:
Third & final WHIM buy from boots, I should be banned. I simply brought this because I thought it looked pretty! But it is actually really handy. This is the perfect travel companion as it contains a bronzer, which you can also use for a contour, highlight & a blush. All 3 products are high pigmented and super blendable, They also all have a lovely glow to them with leaves you with a beautiful dewy finish. Oh and its a BARGAIN!
