Our villa was right in between Old Town Marbella and Puerto Banus, meaning it was perfect location for a bit of everything. With the Mediterranean sea on our doorstep we couldn't have wished for anything more. The thing I loved about Marbella is that we could easily access two completely different areas, so we actually felt like we had two different holidays in one! Old Town Marbella is the perfect place to go for a walk around the gorgeous little cobbled streets and a look in the Spanish shops. It's streets are filled with local tapas bars where you can sit outside and watch the world go by. Everything here is very traditional and you really do feel like you are in Spain when you are here! Puerto Banus on the other hand is completely different but equally as beautiful. This is the port with all the bars, designer shops & fast cars! The port itself is gorgeous, however it can get pretty busy in the port side restaurants and bars, and you can sometimes feel a little squeezed in. However if you take a little scroll down the little side streets its not hard to find little bars and restaurants that are less touristy and more traditional (again completely depends what you like, there really is something for everyone!) The night life here is incredible & the party’s carry on into the early hours.
