I kinda' use my Subscription box posts as a way of monitoring how quickly each month comes and goes, and as I sit here and type the April Glossybox post, I have made one observation - THIS YEARS GOING BLOODY FAST! This months box contains some rather wonderful goodies, including one in particular I was V excited about! Come and have a look inside!
Elgon - Deliwash Co-wash Cleansing Conditioner
"Co-washing" is something I've heard passed about a few times but never really known what it is, but after receiving this product obviously I had to do my research! It basically means a product that combines the cleansing action of a Shampoo whilst also giving your hair the hydration of a conditioner! Time-saving is always something I look for in products so I am excited to try this out! It's also free from salts, artificial colours & sulphates! Winner, winner!
SportFX Duo End Make Up Brush £10.99
I've tried this brush a couple of times since receiving my box and have been pleasantly surprised by the results. The fluffy end is great for power and the buffer more denser end has been good for blending out my contour. The two brushes in one aspect make the brush really good value for money, especially since it is Anti-bacterial and dermatologically tested. My only moan, if I am being picky would be the packaging - I am fan of pretty brushes (silly I know) and this one isn't the most luxurious packaging I've seen, and I think for the price you could get something similar that looks a little prettier.
Merci Handy - Black Vanilla Hand Cleansing Gel £2.90
I have received this product plenty of times in subscription boxes, and although it is a little annoying receiving something you've had a few times before, I have to admit, as the name suggests, they are super "handy!". I always through them in my handbag, and they always get used! This scent in particular is lovely, Black Vanilla, and the gels do exactly what they say on the tin! Can't complain really.
Model Co Contour Stick £12.00
I already have a contour stick very similar to this that I brought in New York, I've used it so much that i can't see the brand name anymore and I have no idea what it was called, which meant I haven't been able to repurchase! - so this being in the box was a bit of a blessing! The colour is slightly warmer in tone than what I would like, but overall it blends well and does the job I need it to do! The buffing brush from this box came in handy to use with this! I like how easy it is to apply, and my contoured cheeks can be done in a matter of minutes.
Rodial Glamolash Mascara XXL £24.00
I may have accidently saved the best til' last in the form of this Rodial mascara (they say good things come to those who wait, yano?). This mascara gives me EVERYTHING you could ever want for your lashes, they are clump free but still thick, extra black, long lasting and also soo lengthening. Another thing to point out is that the mascara contains beeswax which nourishes and conditions the lashes, which means you are actually giving them a little treatment, whilst they also look fabulous! I rarely find new mascaras that I love because I can be soooo picky, but this one has gone straight to my number 1 spot and I'm ready to pick up the full size! Get yours HERE.
