Now we are officially into June it's time to start planning for Father's day! I love getting my Dad something thoughtful and special, as I know how much he appreciates it. Plus I just loving buying people presents - I love to see their face when they open them! I have pulled together 21 present ideas for the "cool Dad". All Dads are cool, right?! I hope you find some ideas! xo
If you have been following my blog for a while you would have probably seen previous posts from me about showcasing and supporting smaller businesses, for example my Etsy Favourites post here. What I have found from buying from a smaller company is that you not only do you always get a more personal customer service experience, good value for money, and packages sent with care and attention, On top of all this, you know that every single order little or large is appreciated, and helping someone achieve their dream of owning their own brand. I have put together an updated post below with the pieces I am loving from "home grown" brands, who create wonderfully unique products at great prices, including a company local to where I live, which is where we will start...
Oh hey there - you knew that I wouldn't be able to resist a lil' gift guide, they are my favourite after-all! (even though most of the time I end up finding things I actually want myself which is completely beside the point!) Mother's Day is THIS SUNDAY - yup, that came around pretty fast didn't it? I've put together a cute selection of goodies that I think your mumma's would be rather pleased to open this weekend! What dya reckon, come and have a peep?
Oh yes you guessed it, I couldn't resist. Your girl Georgie has already been IN on the Lush Easter collection and pretty much brought it all. Why can't I stop? Is there such thing as a Lush Addiction? If so help a girl out. My bank balance officially hates me however my bath is LOVING life right now and has never seen so many treats. Here is a sneak peak at what is MOST of the Easter collection, and my thoughts on the ones I have used so far!
I am V excited to announce that I am typing this at approx 5:05pm and ITS STILL LIGHT, yes people it's still LIGHTT! Which means we can actually go out and do things in the evening, rather than, yano, snuggling on the sofa with a hot choc. MySpring Wish List seemed to go down pretty well with you guys, and seeing as there are SO many pretty items floating around at the moment (particularly of the blush pink colour), I thought hey, why not do another one! So with-out further a-do here are some more of the spring/summer loveliness I'm lusting over right out now. Enjoy!
Following on from my first Mother's Day Post - Why Send Flowers, when you can send Biscuiteers (trust me it's a yummy one), I thought I'd share my second lot of Mother's Day Gift Inspo goodness in the form of some fabulous looking bath treats from Lush. Their Mother's Day Collection launched a few weeks ago, and I simply couldn't resist picking some up, and trialling them (for gift guide purposes obviously). I just wanted to make sure they were up to scratch for all the mumma's out there ok, so I was your guinea pig. Your welcome! Come and see what they've got to offer!
I'm sure the title is pretty self explanatory on this post, and I'm not slating flowers because hey pass me the Peonies, but yano if I had the choice, flower shaped biscuits would win. Why? Well because YUM! This is my first post in what will probably be a couple of Mother's Day Gift Guides, you should know by now I bloody love my gift guides! However I can assure you this one will by far be the tastiest. Now come on and have a nosy, before I eat them all!
The one thing I like to spend a few more penny's on than anything else, is handbags. They're my weakness. (Alongside wine, chocolate and tango ice-blasts at the cinema obvs - but that's another story). I have had a few designer bags in my collection over the years, but I also have had some fabulous high-street handbags that have lasted SO well. I thought I'd put together my current 3 most used handbags. 2 Designer, 1 High Street.
